We prepare the applicant, mark and goods and services for an efficient electronic filing with the Swedish office.

Accepted Swedish terms

NordicIP reviews the specification against PRV practice and uses accepted wording where it supports the required commercial scope.

Examination-order response

We analyse a PRV order, explain the impediment and prepare the agreed argument, evidence or specification solution.

Swedish register management

We report publication and registration, monitor the opposition period and place renewal on the NordicIP docket.

// COUNTRY-SPECIFIC ADVANTAGE

PRV e-filing and fast first feedback

PRV’s current service target gives a straightforward Swedish application an early indication of registration or objections in about four weeks. NordicIP prepares the goods and services carefully so the application starts on the strongest practical footing.

We file electronically, monitor PRV and explain every order or registration step in English. After registration, the ten-year renewal date is added to the NordicIP docket for continued portfolio visibility.

// TIMING · OPPOSITION · RENEWAL

Sweden trademark timetable and maintenance

01

Current application timing

PRV currently states that new trademark applications receive registration feedback or an examination order in about four weeks. A registration is then open to opposition for three months from publication.

02

Sweden opposition stage

Three months from announcement of the registration. NordicIP prepares the response, organises the evidence and manages the PRV correspondence through decision or settlement.

03

Renewal managed by NordicIP

The basic official fee starts at SEK 2,700. SEK 1,000 for each additional class. SEK 200 per class after expiry. We verify the register, confirm the total, file and report completion.

// FILING STRATEGY

Choose the right route for Sweden

A Swedish national application creates a standalone right on the Swedish register. It is a focused option where Sweden is the commercial priority or a separate national right fits the wider portfolio.

We prepare and file the application with PRV, manage examination correspondence and report the outcome in clear English. Registered rights are placed on our renewal docket for continued portfolio visibility.

Sweden is also included in an EU trademark. We can compare the national and EUTM routes and coordinate a filing plan based on the countries, classes and commercial timetable involved.

NordicIP files and manages the proceeding with the Swedish Intellectual Property Office (PRV) and reports every material development in English.
